The life of a file
You upload it
Over an encrypted connection, into your workspace. In AlFasil, only you and the teammates you invite can see it.
AlFasil reads it
The file goes to Anthropic's Claude API over an encrypted connection, only to read this document. Anthropic doesn't train on API data, and we never train on your documents.
You review and export
The extracted data stays in your workspace until you delete it.
The original is deleted
Automatically, 24 hours after processing unless you choose otherwise: anything from 1 hour to 7 days. Free tool files are deleted as soon as they have been read.
What we never do
- Use your documents or extracted data to train AI models.
- Sell your data or share it with advertisers. There are no ads and no tracking scripts.
- Write the content of your documents, or their file names, into our logs.

The fine print
Questions
Is my data used to train AI?
No. We never use your documents or extracted data to train AI models, and Anthropic, which reads the documents for us, doesn't train on API data.
Where is my data stored?
On Cloudflare's global network: hosting, database and temporary file storage. Documents are read by Anthropic's API in the United States.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. Settings → Your data → Delete my account removes your workspaces, documents and extracted data, and cancels a paid subscription at once.
