Terms of Service
Last updated: (to be added)
These terms are an agreement between you and (to be added) ("we"), the operator of AlFasil, for the use of AlFasil.
1. The service
AlFasil reads invoices, receipts and similar documents you provide and produces structured data and export files. AlFasil is a data-entry tool. It is not accounting, tax or legal advice, and it does not file anything with any authority.
2. Your responsibilities
- Check the output. AI extraction can make mistakes, especially on blurry, handwritten or unusual documents. AlFasil highlights fields it is unsure about and checks the math, but you are responsible for reviewing data before you rely on it, import it, or file it.
- Only upload documents you have the right to process.
- Don't upload unlawful content, malware, or documents unrelated to bookkeeping in order to misuse the service.
- Keep your account and API keys secure. You are responsible for activity under them.
- Don't try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or get around plan limits.
3. Your data
You own your documents and the extracted data. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service to you. See the Privacy Policy for what we store and for how long, and the Data Processing Addendum for business customers.
4. Plans, billing and cancellation
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
- Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Paddle, which also handles sales tax/VAT and invoices.
- Each plan includes a number of pages per month. Unused pages don't roll over. Failed documents don't count.
- Page packs are one-time purchases of extra pages. They are used only after the plan's monthly pages run out and expire 12 months after your latest pack purchase.
- You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- You can ask for a refund within 14 days of a payment, as set out in our Refund policy.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
5. Availability
We work to keep AlFasil available but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may pause processing temporarily (for example to protect the service during unusual demand); your files stay queued.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: the service is provided "as is"; we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, penalties or tax assessments; and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
8. Changes and contact
We'll notify signed-in users of material changes to these terms. Governing law: (to be added). Contact: (to be added).
