QuickBooks Online can import data from spreadsheets, which saves entering each supplier invoice by hand. AlFasil extracts the data from your invoices and prepares the spreadsheet. (AlFasil is compatible with QuickBooks; it isn’t affiliated with Intuit.)
Export for QuickBooks
Choose QuickBooks Online bills import (beta) in AlFasil’s export dialog. You’ll get one row per line item with bill number, supplier, bill date, due date, terms, account, line description, line amount and tax. Dates use month/day/year by default; change it if your company settings differ.
Check your import options
Which import types QuickBooks Online offers depends on your region and subscription. Look under Settings → Import data. If bills import isn’t available in your account, export the generic layout from AlFasil and import the data as expenses or via a third-party import tool. Use My own columns to match any template exactly.
Fewer surprises at month-end
Because AlFasil checks totals, VAT and duplicates before export, you’re far less likely to import a bill twice or with a wrong tax amount.
